Today Connor and I went swimming at Base Borden for the first time. It was a lot of fun. They have a swim for parents and small children three mornings a week. The pool is really great. It gradually gets deeper, like walking into the water at the beach. Connor wasn't too excited at first, but he got more interested over the 45 minutes that we were there. He got really happy when he played with a rubber duck, which reminded him of home, I guess. He was also really interested in watching two girls dump buckets of water on their dad's head. I could tell that he can hardly wait until he can do that to his dad! |
