Let the countdown begin...

Alrighty, we our now entering the final stretches of Kate's pregnancy. Her belly is still stretching still too. Last night I felt the baby doing jumping jack in Kate's belly. It was the weirdest thing... I could see baby's arm (or maybe it was a foot) moving around. Bizarro!

She's due on the 15-20th of September and was wondering if people want to enter the baby sweepstakes.

Guess sex, weight, and date and the winner will win the priviledge of having the baby named after them.

Or something like that. Well not really. You can send me money and if it's big enough then I'll consider it.

Well I got a big bike race,

We got a place

Hey folks, I just wanted to let you all know that Kate and I will be moving next weekend to Alliston. I made Kate do the commute to Alliston and back for 2 years but I could only handle a month of it and said ok, forget that carp. We're moving to Alliston.

So we got a nice little 1 1/2 bedroom apartment in Alliston. It's the second floor of a house and it's really nice. The only problem is that we don't have laundry in the house. Kate's cousin lives about a block away though and we can use theirs though.

Work is going good. Coupler isn't evil anymore. I'm actually liking it now. I finially get around to not minding the job and am able to do it without a trainer and then I find out that they will be moving it out of our zone at the end of next week. Oh well...

So I guess I should let people know our new address...

Best be going..

I'm not dead yet...

Well I'm here in Sarnia this weekend for my parents little golf tournament and thought I'd write a quick post to say hi to everyone.

The golf tournement was at the holiday inn golf course here in town and I figured I'd have this one wrapped up for sure as I play on a par 3 course all the time. I shot a +6 and thought that would be good enough and then I find out when we are all done that my Dad had the best game of his life and he shot a +4 and beat me be 2 shots... Oh well. Good for him.

Work is getting better for me as I can now do 4 different jobs by myself without a trainer! I'm a big boy now! I don't need any help!!! Hooray for me!

I'm still getting the numbness in my hands when I wake up in the morning which is starting to get pretty annoying. My flabby social worker muscles are starting to get whipped into shape a little and I'm not too sore anymore. I'm found a real appreciation for baths with Epson salts though. I just wish my tub was a little bigger. Last night I got the chance to use my folks jucuzzi though. That was nice.

Well gotsta run. Heading back to Aurora in about half an hour or so.

Coupling is EVIL!

Hey folks, just wanted to let you all know that I'm not dead or anything yet. I'm doing quite well and am really enjoying the new job. I don't have access to the net very often so my posts may few and far between. Right now I'm at the library using the net, so 'm able to punch a few words down.

Honda is going good. Right now I'm on 5 different jobs and today I will be signing off on my first one so I don't have to have someone watching over my shoulder constantly. Three of the other 4 jobs are going good and I should have those wrapped up by the end of this week. The one job that I'm having problems with is COUPLING. I have to climb in the car and hook up about 7-10 different little couplers (electrical component involving to pieces that push together and click) and it is a killer on the back. It will come though in time.

I'm on afternoons this week and I don't have to work untill 4:30 this afternoon. Lunch is at 8:30 pm though and that may be a little hard to get accustomed to.

The main problem I have had to deal with so far is that from Wednesday to Saturday I was waking up and finding that my hands had gone numb. That scared me a bit as it sounds like the onset of carpel tunnel syndrome. On Sunday morning I went to the walk-in clinic to see what the doctor said about it and he said that it would work itself out and not to worry about it. OK.... Thanks for the help doc...

It's better today as I've had three days to recouperate and no pain or numbness today at all.

Well my hour is almost up and I have a few more things to do still so I better get running.

REPRESENT!
